(I put the names in a weird order... Forgive me...)
This time I'm going to forget the summary and go straight to the review. First of all, from what I hear, the Escaflowne movie is basically the 26 episode series made into a 2 hour movie with a few changes. Now I haven't seen the series, just the movie so they're aren't going to be any comparisons in here. Some people say they like the movie more, but the series seems to be more popular.
This movie is truly beautiful. The music, done by Yoko Kanno who might I add always does a great job, really impressed me and I loved it. The artwork is beautiful as well. I loved the story regardless of what others may say. The Voice Acting was very well done. Although the ending was a little unclear, I would love to watch it again. Even though the ending was a little unclear, you could predict a reasonable explanation. I don't know if this would be my favorite anime movie, but it would be up there in my top 5. I don't know if the people who watched the series would be disappointed but I liked it. I understood it even though I haven't even watched one episode. I think I'm going to buy the soundtrack since the music captivated me. A good mixture of action and romance.
